About HerStillSpaceI started HerStillSpace because I got tired of feeling like something was wrong with me.I was in my mid-40s, exhausted in a way that sleep didn't fix, foggy in a way that scared me, and not quite recognising the woman I saw in the mirror. I went to the doctor. I was told I was fine. Normal blood tests, normal this, normal that. So I went home and carried on carrying everything. But I knew. Something had shifted. So I started doing my own research. And what I found changed everything — not just about my body, but about how I'd been living, what I'd been ignoring, and how little most of us are ever told about what happens to women in midlife.
HerStillSpace grew out of that. It's where I write about all of it — perimenopause, identity shifts, the friendships that change, the quiet question of what comes next, and the slow, sometimes uncomfortable process of coming home to yourself.
If you're a woman in your 40s or 50s who feels things deeply, thinks about them for a long time afterwards, and has spent years putting everyone else first, you're exactly who I had in mind when I built this space. This isn't a wellness brand. There are no quick fixes here, no five-step plans, no relentless positivity. Just honest, unhurried writing for women who are ready to start listening to themselves again.I'm glad you found your way here.
